Speaking of saying "Screw it", being that the armour upgrades are very fucking fickle, there won't be one every level. Same with health.

Although the health thing is as much for balancing because apparently regenerating health...umm...stacks.

I also need to make the enemies more accurate because now Doom's far too easy Neutral

We need to be able to set a single maximum that all pickups related to the health or armour max (as opposed to 100 or 200) adhere to like ammo to their respective counters, because the way it is right now is pretty craptastic.

updated Lock and Load 5 download with RPG features now available for download.

Please don't use the weapon cheats, they'll merge the scripts.

Anyway, get it here!

Lock and Load 5 has passed and I'm looking to update it while pulling away excess weapons.

I'm definitely still going to go for levelling up, although I'm aiming to only affect weapons.

I do have the weapons and their behaviour already planned, so hopefully the alleged development cycle will not be as long as Lock and Load 5's.

I am in the process of re-imagining Lock and Load. Again.

I've started actually planning out how things are going to work this time.

Being that EDGE supports hub episodes, I do hope to actually get into level design.

I'm rebalancing the whole thing and I'm adding a lot of weapons.

The plan with actually getting weapons will be randomizing them based on a class structure of some sort. This will only apply to Doom, Doom 2 and Final Doom IWADs.

I'm also looking at adding new enemies; again, these will be randomised based on class for the original Doom IWADs.
